I didn't want to remain a receptionist forever. I was more looking at property manager, executive, pushing open the double framed steel and glass door.

I took my position behind the crescent shape, sandstone desk, dropping my purse and laptop, in desperately need of some coffee unloosening my ponytail, ruffling my long red hair for a few seconds. I flick it to one side than to another trying to relax, my eyes tired from lack of sleep.

"I knew you won't a blonde, but I never figured you a red head."

My breath caught at the sound of his voice, but I played it cool. He had never seen me in person turning around, looking up, lost in his bright green eyes.

Damn

He was fine, more striking in person.

My eyes ran over him hastily, drinking him in, standing there, dressed in a gray chequered suit, complete with black shirt and tie.

"It's nice to finally meet you Ms...." snagging my ID off the desk.

"Ms Adela Lisa Cornway."

I blush at the sound of my name rolling around his tongue, wilting under his massive presence.

"Nice to finally meet you." stretching out his hand for a shake.

"Hi" my voice laden with sudden fear.

How did he find me? How did he know what I really looked like in person? There are millions of people living in Manhattan, how did he know which one was me?
