“You want me to steal?” Ricky was shocked. “And don’t call them victims, they are clients.” He continued.
“I will tell you later, for now just pretend to be my future brother in law. You must earn her trust.” She faked to smile to the nosy crowd.
“How will I do that within these few days?” Ricky scanned the room if anybody was eavesdropping.
“I don’t know, figure something out.” She pat him on the back.
“I don’t know her and you never gave me a heads up.”
“Now you know her, I need a refill.” Angie shrugged pointing to the shelves at the bar. Reluctantly, Ricky walked to the bar to get her the drink she wanted.
CHAPTER TWO
“Flora honey, you are not eating enough since you got here. What you are eating is not enough to keep a woman alive.” Mrs. McAllister said, then seemed to think that was the funniest joke she would ever say. “Keep a woman alive and Ricky here is an expert in women’s health. He is a health and fitness coach.” Betty McAllister said as she nearly exploded in adoring laughter at her own witticism. She stared at her mother, Ricky sensed the tension between them.
They were sitting at the dining table.
