Jimmy the boy from Winter Haven made deep fried Goat Cheese Sticks and Deep Fried whole Jalapeno Bites . His sister Hanna made Southwest Steak Bites and Hot Beef Sundaes, Jacob from the boys home at the lake made Deep Fried Apple Fritters and Deep Fried Oreos, The ten year old girl named Shadow from the indian village made Fried Apple Ganola Bites and Fried Fry bread with homemade Maple Syrup which she provided pictures of her taking the maple sapp and turning it into maple syrup, the last contestant Nolan made Deep Fried Dill Pickes and Veggie Corndogs
In the Adult barbecue cookout contest Quiet Meadows Farmer Henry Ashwood took first place and recieved ten thousand dollard, Winters Haven's Barbecue Pit came in second place and recieved five thousand five hundred dollars, Third place went to Winters Haven Everything Barbecue recieved four thousand five hundred dollars.The judges in the childrens cookout contest was still deciding the winners so the commitee anounced it would be an hour before the winners of the children cook out would be announce and informed everyone that would be a good time to get a bite to eat and rest.
After the break the judges announced the winners of the contest Shadow from the indian village of Kickapaw won first place and recieved a schoalship for the amount of five thousand dollars. Jacob the boy from the boys home took second place and a schoalship in the amount of two thousand five hundred dollars, Hanna the seventh grader in Winters Haven came in third place and recieved a schoalship in the amount of one thousand five hundred dollars. Her brother Jimmy won fiurth place and recieved a Bank CD in the amount of sixhundred and fifty dollars.
