"Well, I feel lucky I met you today," Arflin said as once again he set in motion a trap to lure Cat Lady to him.
He quickly glanced at her profile and noticed she was divorced.
"Have you seen Tequendama Falls? It is only about twenty-nine kilometers from Bogota. The Bogotá River crosses the Sabana forming Tequendama Falls to the south. It is very beautiful there, but you need to get there early in the morning to see all of its' splendor. If you get there as the sun is rising above the mountains and look at the falls at certain angles, it will remind you of a rainbow flowing down the mountain as it empties into the river below. You will most certainly want to take the cable car to the top of Monserrate. Sometimes dense smog often obscures the skyline, the view of Bogotá from Monserrate Hill is still breathtaking. The panorama extends from the Río Bogotá to La Candelaria, whose red Spanish tiles make it easy to spot. The church on top of Monserrate houses an image of the Fallen Christ that is a popular destination for pilgrims. The teleférico leaves every half hour from Monserrate Station near Quinta de Bolívar for the 15-minute journey to the peak," Cat Lady told him.
Arflin decided to check out Tequendama Falls first before he invited Cat Lady to come along. He wanted to see if there were any secluded areas away from the tourists. The next morning after breakfast he drove to the falls. It was a beautiful sight, but there were many tourists there.
He saw several dirt roads. He took one that led down by the river. This would be a perfect spot to bring Cat Lady. It was away from any tourists. He did see a small boat pass by, but he didn't think that would be a problem. Now all he needed to do was gain Cat Lady's trust and he knew what to do next.
Later that afternoon Arflin returned to his apartment. He got on his computer and soon found Cat Lady in one of the chat rooms.
"Hello Trapper, how are you today?" Cat Lady said when she saw Arflin enter the room.
"I'm just fine thank you. I was hoping I would see you on line this afternoon. I want to ask you something," Arflin said.
"Well, here I am so ask away," Cat Lady, replied.
"Would you like to go with me to Tequendama Falls this Saturday?" He asked as he waited for Cat Lady's answer.
