Cheasequah (cheas-e-quah with the e silent) meant Red Bird would be nine in just days Angeni wasn't sure if she would have the money to get him bow and arrows and a target . That is what nine year old indian boys usually get from his parents. It would be made by his father and his brother would make him his favorite meal. Magi (ma-ji) meaning White Owl had turned seven a few weeks before. He saw a toy truck in a store's window just down the block. The young man who lived on the floor below built things out of wood made him a truck and said it was for helping him with his trash. He brought some rocks and played forever with the truck on the flat roof. Angeni told her younger siblings never to play close to the edge and watched them very careful while they were out there.

Angeni always put two year old Ninovan (nin-o-van) meaning our home in a playpen while they were on the roof. She had sold her parent's full size bed to a young couple who was moving in and didn't have one and turned that bedroom into a play room for the young ones.
