It would take hours before the murder scene was clear enough to return to the Golden Key Hotel to gather her things from her room. By now it must have been all over the news that Jason Bear was killed by a sniper when checking into the hotel. She figured by now a good six hours after the shooting that the law would have known that the deadly shot came from outside the Hotel itself. By now as well, Jimmy Vegas had to be on the run for the murder of the girl that she in fact killed.

As Aurora snuck her way up the stairs to further cover her being there, she thought about Crow and was he still there on site? As she entered the passageway where she shot the young companion of Jimmy, she saw the police yellow tape still covering the doorway entry to the murder scene. Reaching into her gray cargo pants pocket, Aurora withdrew her room key card and slithered it into the open slot. Once inside, the plan was to grab her other Glock, ammo clips and laptop computer. That all changed when she felt another presence in the room. Withdrawing her semi-automatic, she pointed it at the shadow sitting in the chair backlit by the window.

"Move and you're a dead Mother Fucker!" she belted out as she took sight of the dark figure.

"Now is that anyway to address an old friend?" said a male voice slightly deep in tone.

"Who the hell are you?" she said with the trigger ever so slightly pulled so that if the target moved, it would take less than an inch more to release the chambered first round into his face.

"Constantine it's me!" said the man as his voice rose in pitch.

"Who the fuck are you?" she cursed as she reached for the light switch on the wall beside her.

"Christ Aurora it's me, Matt!" he cried out just as he was illuminated by the overhead light beam.

"Stryker…..That You?" she called trying to recognize his facial features under the bright glow of the spotlight.

"Yeah….shit it's me!"

"Stryker what the hell are you doing here?"

"Could you please stop pointing your gun at me?"

"Oh yeah….sorry," she said lowering her weapon. "What the fuck are you doing here…in my room?"

"Sorry, I just wanted to see you….that's all," he said as he watched her return her pistol to its holding place. "Shit I thought you were going to shoot my ass," he added with a smile.

"I almost did shoot your ass." she said matching his smile. "What the hell are you doing here anyway….I thought you would be long gone after that long range shot this afternoon."
