Lakshmi and Dhivya both said together, “No, We will stay with her.”
Arya saw both and said,” Ma, You both need rest in order to take care of her. So please go and get some rest, Please.”
Lakshmi and Dhivya also thought that it is better to leave them alone for some time. So they agreed and he walked with them to the entrance and got a cab for them and saw them leave.
He then went back to the room and saw her moaning. He went near her and sat next to her holding her hands. He spoke up,” I am here. Everything will be alright soon.”
Adhira was able to sense his voice even though she was unawake. Arya saw tears rolling down from her eyes even though she hasn’t opened her eyes yet. Seeing it his heart ached and he was about to cry himself but he controlled his emotions and wiped off her tears.
He held her hands tightly and kissed it. He then said, “Don’t worry dear, I am here and we can overcome this soon.”
Adhira clutched back his hands tightly and he saw her fingers and rubbed her palm as a gesture to console and support her.
He sat there next to her for another an hour after which Adhira woke up. She woke up and saw him sitting right next to her. Arya saw her awake so he adjusted the pillow for her so that she can sit and have some food. It has been more than 8 hours she had something to eat after the delivery.
Adhira sat resting her back in pillow with Arya’s help. Arya spoke up,” Let me get you the breakfast. You didn’t have anything. So…” saying it he got up to take the breakfast while Adhira held his hands.
He saw her and she spoke up, “I am sorry. I am such a….”
Arya placed his finger on her lips and said,” Shhhhhh……….”
“There is nothing that you can do. It is all fate. Whatever has to happen has happened. Now let us not think about this and move on.”
Adhira busted out,” But it is our son….. You know he was like a rose flower…. I didn’t even get a chance to feed him……I didn’t even touch him once also….I don’t know what wrong I have done…..”
She gripped Arya’s shirt and cried placing her head on his shoulders. Arya hugged her and said, “Dear, Please don’t cry. I can’t see you cry.”
“But Arya…… It’s our son….”
“Dear, Listen to me….” He gripped her cheeks and saw in her eye and spoke up,” Think that it is better for our child. Let me tell you the truth which I didn’t reveal to anyone else.”
