Kim did recognize her old school mate Michelle. They had homeroom together but no other classes and Michelle had her own set of friends but her father was one of Mitchell' first partners in the business and then decided he like to design buildings more than to build them so when Michell was awarded a scholarship to one of the richest college he started his own business in that city and now he's worth quite a bit of money on his own.
Kim thought to herself well money does attract money.
After the steps outdoors to the wine cooler was done but Mr. Astor wanted to see what was in the wine cooler before any other work was and he didn't say what was down there but he just ordered that he didn't want the room bothered and to leave the stone wall that covered the the door inside left there. That peaked up Kim's sense of wanting to know.
Thry worked hard to get the downstairs done by the deadline. Kim 's major job was re painting the walls and had to bring by paint swatches, Jonathan and her was begining to be friends then she ordered the paint and made sure it matched the swatches perfectly. Then the two young men who worked for her father and her went to work on painting the walls. Her father repaired the front and back stairs going up to the second floor..There was some more wood working that he repaired before the painting crew painted the walls then Kim and the painting crew put up wall paper trim up on the kitchen wall and then Kim put up paper decals on the wall and made it look homely.The next step was new drapes hung up and new carpets installed. A major improvement. The Astor really liked the way it looked and was done under budget. Kim didn't let the Astor's know that she used an outlet store to get the drapes and another one for the carpet and rugs.
