Starke made a quick call to Candee at the paper, and told her he'd call her tonight at the usual time, he had something, to tell her about his work. She said, "Okay" then he asked, "so pretty lady, and how does your friend Rosie, like your ring?" Oh, Candee said, "she loves it and is so thrilled for me, everyone is congratulating me, I'm having a very happy day," he laughed at the way she put that, and said, "well go enjoy the rest of your day, and I'll talk to you tonight," and they said, "goodbye.” And Starke got down to the business on his paper work.
Cameron was making phone calls to some of the people on the credit cards, that they retrieved, letting them know that they had been recovered, and everyone of them said, they had been canceled and new ones issued, he also told them an arrest had been made, and that was all the information he was allowed to give, but he knew it would be enough.
Gloria was one of the people called, her call was forwarded from her house to the shop, and she was relieved to hear that they got the guy and she would be safe at home once again .She would call Chad tonight to tell him the news and also that their first dance lesson would be on Thursday evening at seven o'clock.
Anne and Julie were quite busy at home either on the phone with each other or on the phone making plans for the wedding of the year as they were coming to refer to it as. Anne spoke to most of her garden club members and they all wanted to help where ever they could and were excited about the wedding. One of the ladies Caroline, her husband is a judge and so Anne, ask her if he would marry them, Caroline was delighted and said, "Yes, of course he'd love too, she knew he would say yes immediately." Of course they would all help with the decorating of the garden and in using flowers from all of their gardens would handle all the arrangements, another of the ladies retired from her own flower shop, said she would make the brides bouquet etc. Some of the ladies offered the services of husbands and sons with the heavier work, like lighting for after dark, and putting down a portable dance floor, setting up chairs and tables etc. it was easy enough to rent these things but setting things up was not part of the rental service.
