Starke got to the station and was briefed on the situation about to go down, and then he suited up including a bullet proof vest, because they never knew what they'd face till they got there, they knew the guys name was Daniel Walker, a k.a. guard dog on line, and had no record up till now, but that was about to change.
They loaded their gear and the task force men into the van behind the station, and headed out, Cameron was the lead investigator, he showed Starke the search and seizure warrant he had obtained, and he said, I hope the guy doesn't resist, but I guess we'll find out when we get there, they had to drive to the south side of town, which was not the best location in this town, the houses were close together or row homes, but one thing was in their favor all the kids would be in school and not on the street. They passed by the place and parked on a side street; it was not in their best interest to go in with sirens blaring. So they got out, sorted out their weapons and stealthily surrounded the small house, and garage.
Cameron crept up onto the rickety front porch, with Starke right behind him, he rapped on the old wooden door, and announced police open up please, silence . So he rang the bell, and knocked again police open up, they listened then and heard the cocking of a shotgun from inside, they immediately moved to the side of the door, they also heard a dog growling, and a big dog.
Then Starke spoke up, he yelled hey, Danny we need to talk to you, don't do anything stupid, and get yourself in a world of trouble, you don't want to shoot anybody and go to prison for life. Listen to me Danny call off your dog put him in a room or closet and open the door we just want to talk to you, what do you say? They heard some movement inside, so they waited, Cam put his hand up to the others guys to wait, do nothing.
Then the door slowly opened, Cameron saw he had the gun but down at his side, he said, "son, your going to have to hand me that gun," Daniel looked at it like he forgot he had it, and handed it over, then he slowly moved inside as did Starke, Starke stayed with Daniel while Cam checked the place out, making sure no one else was in the house, then he gave the clear sign to the guys outside. Cam then motioned to a door and ask closet? Danny nodded, my Rottweiler's in there, Starke said, "Guess that's where you got your name for on line huh?" Danny just gave him a puzzled look. One of cops came in then from outside and said, "there's a load of stuff in the garage some still in boxes, and Cam came out from the other room and said, "yeah, in here too, big screen TV, new computer, sound system lots of goodies, and look here as he made a fan in his hand of credit cards, you've been a busy boy eh, Danny? We're taking you in for more questioning; they knew they had their guy. Cam got on his cell phone and called animal control to come and get the dog, and then they cuffed Danny he did not resist, and then read him his rights.
