Monday morning was breaking, and Starke was waking in his cabin, he threw on a jogging suit, and went out for his early morning bike ride, he had been away from his routine for a few days and decided he had better get back into the grove, he needed to keep toned up in case he had to chase perps, that's why he started the bike riding in the first place, but then he came to enjoy the early morning rides.

It also gave him time to think about many things, this morning he was thinking about his conversation with Candee as he was driving her home, she was pleased with the idea of living at the cabin and excited about the two of them building their dream home, a place to raise a family and she wanted him to check out that property directly behind Cameron and Julie's place that would be so cool to have them within walking distance. He made a mental note to take care of that this week, as soon as they nailed this guy they were after.

When he got back from his ride, apples and the gang were waiting for their treat, which he went in to get for them before taking his shower and getting ready to go to the station in town.

Candee was up and also getting ready for work, she was anxious to show off her engagement ring and break the news at the paper; she would take care of the announcement. In the paper, she had told Starke, since it's where she worked. But she's been giving thought to quitting her job after they are married, and to be free to take an active role in the planning of their new home, plus his mom wanted her to join her garden club, and she wanted to spend more time with Julie, she asked him what he thought of the idea, and he said, "well you know you don't have to work so, I want you to do whatever makes you happy." ''I'm on the force because it's what I want to do and it's satisfying work most of the time."

Candee saw Chad that morning at the news stand and stopped to say hi, and she told him she was engaged now, and he looked at her ring and congratulated her, he ask, when the wedding was going to be? And she said, "in about a month," "wow" he said. "Well we're not getting any younger so we don't want a long engagement," he said, "I hope I get an invitation," Candee said, "I'll be sure you do." "May I bring a date?" she said, "of course" ''I'm still dating big red, from on line, "Gloria," she's no longer jealous of you, and she was not hateful to you or did any of the nasty things that happened to you, you do know that don't you?" Candee said, "Yes I think I may have misjudged her and I'm glad you found each other and are getting along so well, by all means bring her to the wedding."
