Gloria was in her beauty shop, talking nons top about the wedding she had attended that weekend, one week ago. She not only had the attention of her operators, but all the customers as well, who were in that day. She had them laughing at times and crying at other times. And all who heard knew that she had, had a wonderful time at a very special wedding.
She and Chad rehashed it so much on Sunday, and were feeling very good about the many new friends they felt they had made on Saturday. They were both pretty worn out from all the dancing, so they did nothing but relax and talk.
Gloria was happy that she had decided to take a vacation herself, the week following the wedding, but now she was back at work. She promised her girls there, that they would see photo's as soon as she got them along with whatever Chad had taken, he had handed off his camera to one of the other guest at their table, so she was pretty sure there would be quite a few of them dancing, and was anxious to see those herself.
They exchanged phone numbers and e-mail addresses with Ed and Sally and made promises to call and plan something together and of course to include Starke and Candee as soon as they felt they were settled after the honeymoon.
Chad's new business endeavor was coming together nicely, he was hard at work in his office, on the phone accepting orders from car collectors, who were going to be shipping cars to him for restoration in the future, it was beginning to look like he would be doing some hiring immediately, so he phoned the paper to place a help wanted advertisement as soon as possible, yes, it was all coming together for him, he couldn't wait to call Gloria later to tell her his news.
His dad walked into the office, and Chad held up his index finger, mouthing one minute to him, finished up his add placement and then told his dad how well things were going, his dad had to say slow down son, your talking so fast, I'm missing some of this. Chad laughed and said, "oh, sorry dad, guess I'm excited." they talked for awhile, then his dad went back up to the house, later he would fix lunch and take it down to him, he knew he'd be tied up most of the day, and would not take the time to come up to the house for it.
Candee and Starke arrived back at the cabin later, and he began packing up the gifts, they knew they would keep for the new house and he carried them up to the loft area for safe keeping Candee sat down and began writing her thank you notes.
