Burned Bridges

Unreachable except by canoe or dogsled, young Sophie Carr's cabin is tucked away in the wilds of Canada. Somehow, though, Mr. Wesley Thompson reaches Sophie's village, prepared to preach and pray the way to salvation of the native people. Mr. Thompson is unprepared, however, for the raw challenges of native life, both physically and spiritually. When he meets Sophie, his plans may come completely undone.
