It had been a long day as the group met back at the Chateau, evening was drawing near and not one of them found any sign of Alannah anywhere they looked. Dominic was getting even more worried, he sent Erik to find Eraldo. Dominic was fearful that Eraldo was behind Alannah's disappearance.

Alannah could tell by the sounds around her that they have been traveling for some time, the sounds of the port town had long since vanished. Telling Alannah that they were no longer anywhere near civlization and were once again traveling over the open fields of the island. The horse took a sharp left and began a steady uphill climb on what seemed to be an overgrown hill. The exposed parts of her face kept being slashed by tree branches as they went by. More time went by and the horse began an even sharper incline, a right turn followed by a sudden left and they were once again on level ground. Alannah had long ago lost her barrings, she knew not where they were, or who she was with for that matter. The man who held her hostage didn't even hear her plea for water. She had been on her stomach for so long now that tears began forming in her eyes. She prayed that the baby would be safe, that no harm would come to the child she and Dominic created out of love.

They continued on this path for what seemed like an hour if not more, Alannah could no longer tell the time of day as she could not feel the sun, she was beginning to shiver when the man finally brought the horse to a stop. He dismounted, walked several feet and then Alannah heard the creaking noises of something being opened, possibly a large door, and then the horse began moving again as it was led into some sort of building. The smell of the building was dry, like that of the mill. Alannah guessed she must be in another barn of some sort. As the man grabbed Alannah off the horse, he once again threw her over his shoulder and carried her though a door and into yet another building. As he came to a stop, he dropped Alannah on the floor in a loud thump. Alannah let off a stiffle of a moan as the rope that had held her tight in her cocoon was finally cut, and then with a one quick movement she was rolled out of the blanket and onto a rough wooden floor.

"What took you so long to get her?"

"I ran into problems at the pier"
