"I hope I didn't mess up making Grandma tell me the truth. The last thing I want to do is endanger my friends and family."

She knelt and grabbed a handful of dirt, letting it fall between her fingers. "Help me. Shower me with guidance and wisdom. Help me find a way to protect my loved ones."

"You can do it," a voice said.

Looking around, she saw nothing.

"You are your grandma. You will find the positive. Let go. Don't think. Feel."

The voice vanished. "Hello? Granddaddy come back. Please." No one returned. "Feel," Caitlin repeated as she closed her eyes.

She watched the events of her life unfold. Grandma's smiling face, Granddaddy's dirty boots clomping on the wooden floors, and music filling every inch of the house. Years passed and Caitlin saw an empty house, her granddaddy's funeral, and the fire. When she tried to open her eyes, another image flashed before her. A place she did not recognize. It was Chadwick land but with a new house and kids running around.

Opening her eyes, Caitlin reeled with excitement at her vision. "Thank you, Granddaddy for leading me here tonight. We will overcome this."

Pleasure and excitement filled every inch of Caitlin as she envisioned the new ranch. In time she would share this new life with Garrett.

Caitlin returned to Richmond anxious to draw the new plans. She knew the house would have a large living room with built-in bookcases, a piano, guitar, and sheet music. The dining room would hold an Olympic-sized dining table so they would share meals. There would be bunkhouses for the kids and new barns and modern stables. There would be an Olympic-sized riding ring and a man-made lake for swimming.

When the plans were done, Caitlin reviewed them and saw the clarity. Butterflies danced in her stomach as she skipped around the room. When the doorbell rang, she ran to the door and answered it. "Hey, Jen.," she said grabbing the box from her friend's hands. "Thanks for the pizza." She opened the box and grabbed a slice.

Jen looked behind the couch and in the closet. "Where is she? What have you done with my best friend?"

"I'm here."

"You look like Caitlin, but you are not the same woman I talked with a few days ago." Jen touched Caitlin's head. "Did you fall and hit your head? I'm taking you to the hospital."

"Would you sit down so we can eat? I'm starved." While eating, Caitlin talked animatedly about her plans.
