Across the state they were aproaching a part of a bigger city and ran into this community that seem like there were nobody but senior people living there and Ben told her that was the Senior Citizens town where only older people live and could enjoy each others company and nobody younger then fifty could even come for a few days without permission from the leaders. if they did and whoever they came to visit would be asked to vacate their house immediately. He personally knew a couple that live their and he had over stayed his time by one hour and the leaders came so he had to take a toolbox out of his truck and said that he was fixing their heating and air condition system and would only be there about twenty more minutes. The leaders told the couple that they should have informed them and they told them that they didn't think it would take as long as it did. While they were trying to make amends he had a clipboard with some paperwork on it that meqnt nothing and made the couple sign like if they actually had someone work on something and his friend did and he left.

The next little town was the Asphalt City where only women no matter what age lived there. Some lived in tents, some lived in vans, some lived in their personal vechiles. During the day some of them had jobs but mainly they were women who had no family members who wanted them or made them feel as burdens and get get under these bigger tents with card tables and would make craft goods and sale them to passerbys if they stopped. The city's men in uniform patrol this city with a fine tooth comb so they weren't going to stop. He said usually his brother and him does but if they did there would be a good chance of her being spotted. One of the women held up something and Ben said that was Betty Lou and had recognized his truck and showed him that she had bread for sale. He briefly pulled over while she hid under the cushions in the back of the truck and he rolled down his window and gave her some money and took the bread and told this lady he was in a hurry and would stop and stay longer next time

She saw him slowing down and she looked at what looked like a gated sales lot of some kind that had sheds and little yards. A few of them had picnic tables and a couple of them had a playground equipement. Ben told her they were what people call the Tiny House community where mostly single people or couples of all ages and now even young families that couldn't afford much but wanted a place to call their own. The tiny houses had a little kitchen and bathroom with a shower not a tub and then some of them had like a bunk for the children to sleep on and under the bunk was the pull out bed for the parents and then some have la sofa that folda back into a bed for two. He didn't see a car he was looking for or he would have stopped and she could see what one looked like.
