To Mom and Dad, it's impossible to thank you adequately for everything you've done,
from loving me unconditionally to raising me in a stable household, where you instilled
traditional values and taught your children to celebrate and embrace life. I could not
have asked for better parents or role-models.
And to Mark, Ralph, Paul and Carolyn, thanks for all of the wonderful memories of
growing up, and for your continued support and encouragement. A special thank you to
Ralph, for showing me that anything is possible with faith, hard work and
determination.
For all of my loved ones who've gone on to a better life, especially Aunt Marie, Uncle
Merle, Aunt Em, Uncle Al and Nanny-you are always close in heart.
For all of my wonderful friends old and new-thanks for always being there for me!
And to my cousin, Annie, my very first reader and constant champion throughout the
writing process, thank you for all of the feedback and the late-night IM sessions!
Finally, this dedication would not be complete without a very special thank you to the
men and women of the United States Military, who protect and defend our freedom all
over the world. God bless you!
