The four messengers had stayed by his side longer than anyone else. They were his subordinates as well as his family members. He must not be feeling very good now after seeing his most loyal subordinates being treated differently and being respectful to someone else. Gu Xijiu gently held his hand and patted it softly. Di Fuyi reciprocated by holding her hand tightly. No one spoke a single word, but they understood each other well.

The marching team which consisted of a thousand people was lined up several miles long. The speed at which the team was moving was not very fast. The citizens had started kneeling ever since they heard the shouting, and they continued to kneel and bow when they saw the cabin. It had been more than half an hour since they knelt. It was still okay for a youngster, but it was very torturous for the elders. Their legs had been shaking nonstop ever since they knelt and they could barely stand properly.

Among the crowd, a young woman was holding a one-year-old kid. The kid would not know anything about the situation, so he felt that it was funny when he saw his mother kneeling. Just as he was about to laugh, his mother immediately covered his mouth to stop him.

As the mother was too nervous, she covered the kid’s mouth very tightly to the extent that he could barely breathe. Tears started to roll down the kid’s cheek. He was unable to cry out loud as his mother was covering his mouth. He continued struggling in his mother’s arm, and his face started to get pale.

Gu Xijiu inadvertently glimpsed in that direction and saw the scene. She was shocked. The kid would be smothered!

She flicked her finger and launched an invisible force which hit the mother’s hand. The mother immediately lost her strength, and her hand fell. The young woman’s face immediately turned pale as she thought that the kid was going to cry out loud.

Nevertheless, the kid was only breathing heavily and did not make any noise. The young woman was relieved, and she decided not to cover the kid’s mouth anymore. She continued kneeling together with the crowd.

Di Fuyi looked at Gu Xijiu approvingly. He knew that she had also sealed the acupuncture point of the kid to stop him from making noise, which helped avoid the fatal disaster of the young lady and the kid.

Li Mengxia gave Gu Xijiu a thumbs up. “Miss Gu, good job!”

Gu Xijiu looked at the person inside the cabin and slightly narrowed her eyes.

Was this person Long Fan? Based on the aura that surrounded him, he should have reached a spiritual power of level ten. Moreover, his aura was filled with evil. It seemed like he wanted to be successful quickly and so he practiced the evil arts.

After that, he looked at the so-called Fairy Queen Li. She was wearing a dress made of silk, and her face was covered with yarn. She looked like a pure young lady.

The aura of this fairy was icy. While she was playing chess, she ignored the crowd that knelt to her. It was the golden giant who stood behind, her. They could only hear the marching sound on the street as well as the breathing of the crowd.

Therefore, even though the fairy spoke softly, everyone on the street could hear her clearly. “Celestial Master Zuo, you have lost the match again.” Her voice was clear as spring water.

“Mistress is the master when it comes to playing chess, and I am no match for you.” The fake Celestial Master Zuo chuckled. He waved his sleeve and shifted his attention away from the chessboard and towards the crowd. The way he looked at them was as if he was looking at ants.

Fairy Queen Li smiled. “You are too humble…” She also glanced at both sides of the car and looked at the crowd that was bowing before her.
