She landed with a thud on his hard male chest and gasped moving as far back as his holding would allow. She tried to break it even though he wasn’t hurting her in the slightest beat.
“I guess I will tag along.” She rolled her eyes. She never bothered to ask about his background, but it didn’t take a rocket scientist to know that he is a reserved person.
“Why didn’t you ask your sister in law to go out with you? Just asking.”
“I wanted to go out with you.”
“All right. Please tell me we won’t stay long.”
“Your wish is my command.” He sealed his promise with a kiss. On her cheek, slightly next to her lips. Her sane part of the brain told her that was a kind gesture from him. She’d always been adept at avoiding any talks, handshakes between them. Her body had different ideas, the eyes that had only seen one guy before him went instantly blurry. Some small part of her sanity asked her what she thought she was doing. A far more voice that of love, told her she would never get a chance like this one. Her heart and mind demanded compatibility to that distant voice.
“Shall we?” Ricky said.

Ricky drove his humming, masculine mid-life crisis old junk to the Cozy Hotel. The dusty 1955-1963 Mercedes Benz 300sl gullwing pulled up into the parking lot of Cozy Hotel. It was half past eight. Most of the lights on the neon sign was still visible, hadn’t burned out which means it was a middle class hotel.
