"The island must not be more than eight to ten nautical miles from here. We will be there in no time, Agape."

"There is no rush, my love," smiled Anna.

"Do you realize we are in the southernmost part of the European continent, Anna?" Nikolas remarked.

"I hope Hitler's troops won't find us here," Anna whispered into the wind.

Nikolas did not reply but was troubled. The look on his face confirmed it. His neatly arched eyebrows had furrowed and now looked like sharp diagonal points. He did not want to alarm Anna, and again decided not to express his concerns.

The beautifully built Laurent and Silas Ltd. boat cut through the clear blue waters of the Cretan Pelagos Sea with an easy grace. Anna praised Nikolas's masterful handling of the boat. His skill was precise and perfect. Clad only in a pair of Bermuda shorts and standing on the bridge holding the wheel, his strong legs apart, Nikolas stood out like the Colossus of Rhodes, wearing his olive-Grecian skin like a personal suit of armor. With the clear blue Grecian sky illuminating Niko's well-built torso, Anna gazed at him in deep admiration.

Sitting on the side of the boat, Anna reached down into the sparkling clear water to feel the refreshing coolness as it ran through her long delicate fingers. Anna stood up to remove her multicolored wrap from her narrow waist, revealing a well-sculptured body in a fashionable dark pink maillot. Nikolas protested because he preferred the wrap around her. He thought it made her look exotic.

"All right, Nikolas, I will put it back on," she said provocatively, noticing the smile of satisfaction appear on his face.

"Look to your right, Anna," Nikolas cried out. Anna turned her head to see two dolphins swimming swiftly toward them.

"What a wonderful surprise," Anna exclaimed. She was delighted to see the genuine smile on Niko's face.

"Let's swim with them!" Anna exclaimed.

"Excellent idea, agape!" Nikolas anchored the boat quickly and searched for his bathing suit. "I must have forgotten it at the hotel. What am I going to do now, Anna?" he asked in a sarcastic desperation.

They looked at each other, their eyes widening, and then they burst out laughing. Nikolas wrapped a white towel around his waist. Anna ran to him, throwing her arms around his strong neck and pressing her sunwarmed body against his. She playfully gave him a kiss as she raised her right knee between his thighs. Then she ran away, teasing Nikolas. He chuckled as he chased after her. Catching up with her, he held her tightly in his arms.

"Let me go," she laughed joyfully, squirming to get away. Nikolas let her go, but not before he had pulled away her wrap.
