Jiya Mehra had come prepared to be rejected. This was her first job interview, she was a fresher and the company Singhania Corporation was a huge multinational. Considering all theses facts she had been sure of not getting the job . However she had decided to go for the interview because it would be a good experience for her.
She had chosen her favorite salwar kameez for the day and it had proven lucky for her.
She had reached the third floor on time and met Nandita who was in her early thirties Nandita had taken one look at her asked her only one or two questions regarding her education, experience and her accomodation and offered her the job.
Jiya was very happy because now she could convince her parents to let her to stay in Gurgaon with her elder sister Myra.
Jiya had always been pampered by both her parents and her sister. She had lived a very sheltered life sometimes even under the shadows of her elder overambitious sister Myra.
Nandita explained her what duties her job would entail.She had been appointed as personal secetary to Sagar Singhania, the heir to the Singhania Corporation and younger brother of Ritwik Singhania.
The work however didn't seem to be much. She just had to fix her boss's appointments and all his calls were to be monitored through her. She was to ask him before transferring any call to his room.Nandita had hinted that there would be plenty of personal calls which she would have to attend.
