The next morning Nikhil took breakfast with Jiya.
" Jiya you stay inside. I have spoken with Ritwik and Sagar. They have asked you to stay away from office for this week because the media are standing outside and a few vans have been parked in front of your flat and The Singhania Mansion "
Jiya was very upset on hearing this news
"Don't worry Jiya. Treat this as a holiday.I have some important work otherwise I wouldn't leave you. You can use the swimming pool or the library and I will be back in two hours'"
Jiya decided to make use of the library. It had a wonderful collection of books on geographic sections, a mystery book section and even many famous romantic books.
Nikhil came home two hours later with a bunch of flowers and chocolate pastries . His housekeeper made both some tea and he carried the tray to the library.
"Hi Jiya I am back"
When Jiya saw the chocolate pastries her eyes shined.
" Nikhil you didn't need to do this"
" But I wanted to cheer up my best friend. I know you like chocolate pastries so I brought them for our tea. So how was your day?"
"It was boring. I don't like sitting around doing nothing"
"Since you have given me a wonderful tea I will prepare dinner tonight "
