"All right, babe. That's done, so I'm going to go take a shower." I walked out of the kitchen.
"Honey, could you c'mere a minute?" Keith asked. He turned off the TV.
He sat down on the couch and I curled up in his lap as he put his arms around me. He caressed my cheek and gazed into my eyes. I felt my heart skip a beat.
"I just wanted to say that whatever tomorrow brings, I'm so lucky. I love you so much. I love everything about you: your smile, your eyes, your laugh, your beauty, your intelligence. I would do anything for you and I want to always be there to take care of you. My life is better because you're in it. I trust you and I love just being with you. I know if I need you, you'll be there. You mean everything to me and you complete me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and that isn't going to change whatever tomorrow may bring," he said softly.
I kissed him tenderly and ran my fingers through his hair. "I love everything about you too: your smile, your sense of humor, your sexiness, your eyes; your touch and your strong embrace. Every day I fall harder for you. I feel so safe with you and I feel like you are the only one who really knows me. You always make me feel better and I know you will always be there for me when I need you. I am the happiest when it's just you and me spending time together. I know in your arms nothing can go wrong and that whenever I need you to hold me you are there. I want to spend the rest of my life with you too. I agree no matter what happens tomorrow I'm just happy that we are together and that I'm lucky enough to have you by my side."
He smiled and we kissed deeply. Then putting one arm under my legs, he lifted me as he stood up. He kissed me and made his way to the bedroom.
"We were supposed to go home and rest babe," I teased as I kissed him again. I slipped my hand under his collar and rubbed his neck.
"I don't know about you, but I'm too excited to sleep. An angel agreed to marry to me tomorrow and I couldn't be happier."
I blinked back tears as I rested my hand on his cheek. "Aww, I love you. And I'm excited too. Who needs sleep?"
