"Baby I'm home!!!" I yelled after I got into our apartment the next morning but I was greeted by silence. I suspect that Alex isn't home so I went to the kitchen cabinet to grab the cereal box. As I was pouring it's contents into a bowl, I sighted a piece of paper on top of the kitchen counter, I picked it up and read what was written on it. 'Hey Dawn, incase you find this note, I went out shopping with a schoolmate. I won't be long.'
Tossing the note into the dustbin, I carried the bowl of cereal to my room to eat. After eating, I went to take my bath and afterwards, went to sleep.
I woke up and and looked at the time. Seeing it was past 12 in the afternoon, I went down to the kitchen to make some rice. After it was cooked, I started preparing some stew. While it was getting cooked, I went back to my room to wear a white top and black leather leggings. Wore a black chunky knit sweater over the outfit, leather gloves covering my hands and a pair of sneakers hi-top on my feet. Letting my hair fall to it's wavy state, I went back to the kitchen to remove the stew from the stove as it was cooked already. I wrote a note to Alex telling her that I'm going to work and that there's food in the pot. I locked the door, got on my motorcycle and drove to Mona's Diner.
