The residents enjoyed their time at the rehab facility and several had gotten clean and was ready to leave the facility including their very first patient Candy until the night before her dismissal. Kendal had the evening off and decided to go across to the theater to watch this play Phantom of the Opera. She had invited Candy but Candy wasn't feeling good being due any time. She said she was tired and just needed to go to bed.
Margret was mad at Kendal and decided to take it out on Candy. During her night med pass she gave Candy something. When Candy asked her what the pill was she told her it a med that they give just to relax her so she would get a good night's sleep. The next morning Candy failed the drug test she called the police and she was arrested. She would have the baby in jail and the baby would be taken away from her. Candy kept telling the police what happen but of course who would they believe a druggie or a nurse.
Kendal believed Candy. She felt really bad for her and knew that Candy was just a pawn for Margret to use to get even with her. She had been told to stay away from David. Kendal couldn't though she could have a friend if she wanted. A few weeks later David knocked on her door. He had several papers in his hand and a laptop. He told her it had a whole year internet service on it and knew by then she probably would be able to get her own internet service. As he sat in that chair she realized he filled in that chair and looked amazing and realized that she was deeply in love with him. She excused herself and went into her bathroom
When she came back out David had already left. She walk down the hall ninety feet then turned and walked another ten feet. She realized he wasn't at his desk so she knocked on his sleeping quarter room door. When he opened it she saw Margret in a robe turning over flipping her long blond hair toward her back while yelling at David you need to report her to Dr. Shepherd. Kendal said something like I was going to ask a favor and turned and went back toward her room. She could hear Margret still yelling You need to complain to Dr. Shepherd half way down the hall. Margret also was yelling how dare that idiot think she could to disturb us like she did.
Kendal didn't know if he had sex with Margret that night. The next day Margret wasn't at breakfast. Kendal had to give the residents their morning medication. later that afternoon a bouquet of roses came for Margret. The card said I found my true love last night Love David. It was David's evening off so Kendal knew she would have to watch her back around Margret. She was ridicule all evening long about she couldn't get anything right and had to go to the bathroom quite often. All evening Margret called Kendal pissy ant in front of the residents. Kendal was glad it wasn't her evening to hand out medication. Directly after dinner she went to her room to stay there. On the way she grabbed a couple of snacks.
