Three years flashed by!

The Mage Imperial Universe warriors had been here for three years, but the Ancient Divine Formation of the Zen Mountain appeared to be indestructible under the constant blast from a group of Semi-God Realm warriors. At the moment, all the moves and attacks received no reaction from the haze. Not even a slight disturbance ever happened.

Semi-God Realm warriors of the Mage Imperial Universe had already thought of giving up. As far as they could tell, the Crippled Zen Master had obtained the Wicked Bead. He should be close to gaining complete control of the Wicked Bead. Hence, the possibility of them taking it from the Crippled Zen Master was practically zero.

Three years had gone by, and they were now concerned that the Mage Imperial Universe could be in trouble. After all, there were no Semi-God Realm warriors to stay in command. All the recourses they accumulated over history would be wiped out in a day if the other universes invaded.

The Mage Imperial Universe was strong. That being said, the Divine Imperial Universe was stronger. In that universe, a powerful warrior was regarded as the most formidable of the nine universes, the master of the Divine Imperial Universe.

If the Divine Imperial Universe had invaded the Mage Imperial Universe, the former could snatch all the resources of the latter. In that case, those of the Mage Imperial Universe would be too sad to shed tears.

Therefore, today, Wu Guangde had a discussion with the others. They had decided to retreat back to the Mage Imperial Universe and drop out from the fight over the Wicked Bead. They had spent three years without breaking down the Ancient Divine Formation. Then, it was very likely that they wouldn’t even after three decades. It was pointless for them to stay here longer.

Warriors of the Mage Imperial Universe took swift actions. In merely a day, they had left.

Families of the Central Imperial Universe were relieved at the news. They reoccupied the City of Chaos right away. Besides, they sealed the Teleportation Formation to the Purgatory of Primordial Chaos.

Yin Qingsi stopped cultivating!

She was informed of what had happened outside. She went to the stream for Lu Li at once, planning to deliver the message to him.

Yin Qingsi was fully developed over the three years. Three years ago, she had been a flower in a bud. Now, she was in full bloom. All her gestures and expressions were enchanting. The only pity was within her eyes. They had no life and were void of any expressions, deducting some charm from her beauty which overthrew states and cities.

She stood at the stream and checked Lu Li with psychic power from a distance. What she sensed was something singular—

Lu Li was encircled by gentle breezes which would adopt shapes of many objects. Sometimes, the breezes would change into beasts, jumping up and down. Sometimes, breezes would turn into trees, swaying around, and other times, they would be like blossoming flowers…

“Can this be Foundational Principle?”

Yin Qingsi was taken back. It was not difficult to build things with Xuan Qi. She could use Xuan Qi and build them into illusions of beasts.

But in the case of Lu Li, the little beasts that came into being seemed to have life, and the trees appeared to be alive as well. If they hadn’t been an illusion, Yin Qingsi would have mistaken them as real trees and a real flower that was gradually blossoming.

It was as if…

Lu Li’s control of wind had reached an unprecedented level. In his hands, wind was a living organism instead of an element.

Yin Qingsi walked over after she observed for a while. Lu Li opened his eyes. He could sense her presence through the wind all around him.

He looked at her. She wore an emerald green dress, standing gracefully on the path, too stunning to be fully appreciated all at once.

He seemed to have lost his mind. Soon, he came back to his senses. There was no doubt that Yin Qingsi was a young lady that could be tempting to men. But he could not develop any feelings because Yin Qingsi had an extraordinary birth. The might of Crippled Zen Master deterred him as well.

What was more, when he was first brought to the Purgatory of Primordial Chaos, he already told himself not to have any feelings for any girls. He didn’t have the right to develop romantic feelings. In the Forbidden Ground of Elder God, Leng Wuxin’s slap had woken him up and made him aware of his identity. He must be cold-blooded and merciless in order to go home. In the Deserted World, many were waiting for his return.

Yin Qingsi noticed the touch of fascination in Lu Li’s eyes. It was a harsh feeling for her. Girls like her had begun to think about love and had developed fantasies about romance. Finally, she had met a man that she admired, but she could not have any feelings for him. The reality grieved her.

“Lu Li, the Mage Imperial Universe warriors have left.”

She walked over. “But the City of Chaos is not in the hands of families of the Central Imperial Universe. If you need to go to the Purgatory of Primordial Chaos in a hurry, I… can try and talk to them,” said Yin Qingshe.

“Really?”

Lu Li’s expression immediately turned sharp. His peaceful mind was stirred up. Theoretically speaking, he had three more years before the four families would infiltrate the Northern Desert. But what if the agreement was broken? Naturally, he would love to return as early as possible.

He stood up. “Qingsi, I do need to go to the Purgatory of Primordial Chaos. It’s urgent. Please go and have a talk with the families. It’s okay if you cannot reach an agreement. I have other ways to make them concede.”

“Sure~”

Yin Qingsi nodded. She called over several servants and gave them some orders. The servants left in a hurry. The Crippled Zen Master had no intention to seek hegemony. Over the years, out of boredom, Yin Qingsi had established the Tsing Yi Cabinet which had branches in many cities. The Tsing Yi Cabinet was not exactly a force, but it could come in handy when some matters needed to be dealt with.

The Crippled Zen Master had made it clear that he would not do Lu Li a favor. Yin Qingsi was not sure herself what result she could get. All she could achieve was to do her best to talk to the families, and see if they could send Lu Li away from the Central Imperial Universe.

When Yin Qingsi’s message was sent to the Feng Family and the Qi Family, a chorus of reaction rose. Over the years, the families had developed their hatred toward Lu Li. Now, Yin Qingsi wanted them to cut Lu Li loose and let him leave the Central Imperial Universe?

Yin Qingsi had an unusual identity. She was the offspring of the Crippled Zen Master. The two families must take her message seriously.

The Mage Imperial Universe had sent so many Semi-God Realm warriors who had blasted on the mountain for years without breaking down the formation. The Crippled Zen Master was now a warrior with magnificent abilities. He was not someone they wanted to offend.

That being said…

They could also read between the lines of Yin Qingsi’s words—this message did not come from the Crippled Zen Master. Otherwise, Yin Qingsi would have given orders instead of asking for a favor. If the Crippled Zen Master had sent instructions, the Feng Family and the Qi Family would not have the courage to disobey.

Since it was not the Crippled Zen Master that had sent the message, the two families had adopted a different attitude. Yin Qingsi was not really Crippled Zen Master’s offspring. She was adopted by him. The Crippled Zen Master would not mind even if they didn’t grant Yin Qingsi’s wish.

The two families were having a heated discussion at the City of Feng, arguing whether they should grant Yin Qingsi the favor and cut Lu Li loose.

Eventually, they realized they could not let go of their inner hatred and anger. Lu Li had led to the death of too many in the Central Imperial Universe. They would feel lingering hatred if Lu Li was let go.

The conclusion of the discussion was that Feng Family and Qi Family progenitors decided to come to the Zen Valley to pay the Crippled Zen Master a visit in person.

If the Crippled Zen Master had a similar wish, they would not make things difficult for Lu Li. But if the Crippled Zen Master had no intention to help Lu Li, then they would have to turn Yin Qingsi down.

The two families sent messengers, stating that the two progenitors would come and visit the Crippled Zen Master. Hearing this, Yin Qingsi forced a smile and sighed. “The two families are not going to give me what I want. Forefather will not help you. Lu Li… how about you live here for a while longer. I will figure something out,” said Yin Qingsi to Lu Li who was sitting next to her.

“It doesn’t matter!”

Lu Li shook his head. Yin Qingsi had done more than enough. It was better that he took care of things himself. After much thought, he took out the Wicked Bead and went in, flying to the sky.

After he hovered around in the sky for a while, he came back down. Yin Qingsi controlled the formation to let Lu Li in.

“Buzzing~”

Stepping out from the Wicked Bead, Lu Li said to Yin Qingsi with excitement, “Qingsi, since the two families don’t want to give up, I will show them a good time until they are satisfied.”

The Wicked Bead didn’t disappoint him. Its speed was now at the Semi-God Realm and should be faster than average warriors of that realm. Lu Li had little concern now. At any rate, he could protect himself.
