Lu Li’s current location was too close to the battlefield Yin Qingsi was at. He changed direction again and flew toward the northwest for half a day. Eventually, he selected a mountain as a place for cultivation.

The large number of Beasts of Primordial Chaos in the mountain made it a more convenient location. Lu Li found a secluded cave, which was dug out by someone before. It was neither too spacious nor narrow but it was deep. Lu Li checked for several rounds to make sure it was unoccupied before he went in.

It seemed like the cave was uninhabited for quite some time. In the depth of the cave were some moldy fruit pits. Lu Li was satisfied with this location. He used the divine weapon of Dragon King to dig out some rocks which he used to block the entrance to the cave. He put a thick pile a rocks and then finally felt relieved to sit down with his legs crossed.

The method to reach the Noble Lord Realm was no stranger to him and he actually knew a variety of different ways. Lu Ling had laid down two plans for him. He had already given it some thoughts and had decided to go with one that was neither too difficult nor too easy.

The key of reaching the Noble Lord Realm was in integrating the nine Fate Wheels into the Bead of Life. It was said that the Bead of Life functioned as a bridge to communicate with heaven and earth. With it, warriors could have an easier time to learn Profound Meanings.

Bead of Life could be combined with Bloodline Skill as well. Yu Huashen could use his Bead of Life as a channel to release his Bloodline Skill. Examples like him were many. When combined together, the Bloodline Skills could be more formidable.

Bead of Life was a piece of effective weapon in itself. It was stiff enough to facilitate attacks and it could fly warriors away quickly.

To integrate the nine Fate Wheels into a Bead of Life was not easy. Once failed, it could damage the Fate Wheel, which would affect future cultivation immensely. Should anything go wrong during the integration process and the Fate Wheel was damaged, there could be fatal danger and the chances of dying would be great.

Therefore, at the Northern Desert, many would rather stay at the peak of Eternal Realm than taking the risk considering the lack of Mystical Materials. They would prefer to remain at the peak of the Eternal Realm than risking their lives.

Lu Li had no such worry!

Not only did he have Mystical Materials, he had the best of them. He had three plants of Rising Dragon Grass. In addition, he was naturally gifted. Give that he was still young, chances of things going wrong was low.

Lu Li didn’t commence the process rashly. He sat with his legs crossed and checked the surroundings with psychic power to make sure that he was in a safe environment.

Only after an hour did he take out many Mystical Materials from his Interspatial Ring. He put them into another separate ring for easier access so that he wouldn’t take the wrong one by accident.

Having done that, he took out a booklet. He made sure of the steps and then let the Fate Wheel fly out from his abdomen. The Fate Wheel began to hover in front of him.

“Disperse!”

Lu Li said. The nine Fate Wheels moved away from each other gradually and nine sliver and glowing Fate Wheels were laid in front of him. On one of them was a faint silver dragon mark.

“Back in!”

Once again, Lu Li said. The nine Fate Wheels glistened as they emerged into Lu Li’s abdomen one by one. The Fate Wheels then entered his Spirit Sea.

“Here we go…”

Lu Li checked again to confirm his safety. With that, he took his mind off from the outside. He picked out some Mystical Materials to consume and thusly began to concentrate on cultivating to the Noble Lord Realm.

The cave was pitch dark while Lu Li’s body began to glow. It was odd how he was glistening in the dark.

It had been a month and a half since Lu Li’s disappearance. Lu Ling had called off the search. But she did order a group of Human Sovereign Realm warriors to lead teams of Noble Lord Realm warriors to clean off the Beasts of Primordial Chaos in the Inferno.

While situations in the Clouds Plains and the Serenity Plains had stabilized, everyone in the Deserted World were jittery. Not many knew about the fact that Lu Li had gone missing but they did know that Lu Li had gone to the fire lake with Ye Cha and God of Meng.

Lu Ling then brought in many Human Sovereign Realm warriors. Ming Yu, Lu Feixue and the others could not hide the panic on their faces. Anyone with a good sense could tell that something had gone wrong…

Unknowingly, Lu Li had become the pillar among the civilians of the Northern Desert and the Deserted World. Lu Ling had too many powerful warriors and too large a force in her employment. While the siblings were close, people of the Northern Desert and the Deserted World regarded Lu Li as their real master and Lu Ling and those powerful warriors from the Clouds Plains and the Serenity Plains as outsiders.

Without Lu Li, they felt the end of the world was upon them.

Bai Family, Zi Family, Yu Family and the major races in the Deserted World were alarmed. They had to conjure up all kinds of notions since Lu Ling had put down a gag order. Since people were good at freaking themselves out, they became all the more fearful.

Lu Ling had too many things on her plate to worry about those in the Deserted World and the Northern Desert. She did go to check on Bai Qiuxue for a brief moment. After confirming that she was recovering quickly, Lu Ling called over Madam Yan and had her to stabilize the situation in the Northern Desert. Lu Ling trusted Lu Feixue with the affairs in the Deserted World and then went back to the Clouds Plains with Tu Ni.

She had worked too hard to conquer the Clouds Plains to let it go. Lu Li was taken to somewhere she didn’t know and she couldn’t even be sure whether he would come back or not. Lu Ling felt that the burden on her shoulder grew heavier and heavier. Previously, Lu Li was here to share some burdens but now, she had only herself to rely on.

She was not a person fond of expressing herself. She was a tough girl. She was scared and in trepidation that Lu Li had gone missing. If it were not for the fact that Lu Li’s jade talisman of life had been intact, she wouldn’t be able to go for such long…

She was under so much pressure while worrying about the life of the man closest to him. At the same time, she had to act as if nothing was on her mind and sometimes she even had to fake a smile when she was faced with people working for her.

She had nobody to talk to about the pain and the suffering on her mind. She kept everything to herself. She was a young woman of merely 22 years old. Anyone would have had a nervous breakdown.

Lu Feixue knew what Lu Ling was going through, so did Ming Yu, Ye Cha and God of Meng and all the Human Sovereign Realm warriors working for her. Even the careless Bai Xiashuang understood.

That being said, nobody could suffer instead of her. All they could do now was cultivate and try hard to develop and grow. Once the 10 years’ time was up, the four forces would come bearing down on them. It was no more a secret. It had become a sword hanging over Lu Ling’s head and it was applicable to the others as well.

“Jerk, you are a jerk. How can you go missing just like that? Where are you? Are you really taken to another universe? My sister is going to wake up at any moment now. What should I tell her when she wakes up and cannot see you?”

On the peak of the Snow Mountain of Dragons, Bai Xiashuang was sitting in a room in a castle. Gazing through the window in the southwest, she kept mumbling to herself. She had been too anxious to cultivate for the past couple of days. She had been murmuring to herself constantly.

“Lu Li, you must survive this. What should the people of the Northern Desert do without you? How can the Deserted World protect itself? You have angered the four forces and now you are gone. You have left us to face the fury from the four forces. You jerk…”

Bai Xiashuang was still talking to herself and that was mixed with a sigh from time to time. Maybe, she would feel less suffocated and scared if she could speak the things on her mind out…

What she didn’t realize was that—on the white bed next to her, Bai Qiuxue’s eyelashes moved. She didn’t open her eyes. But tears fell from the corner of her eyes. The pillow was soaked by her tears.

Bai Qiuxue had woken up early. However, the piece of bad news she heard almost sent her into another coma.

She was too weak to open her eyes, to move her lips to say something. All she could do now was cry.

She was finally awake after years of being frozen!

But she could not see her lover nor talk to him about the misery and distress she felt over the years. Strong as Bai Qiuxue was, she could no longer suppress her feelings…
