“Whoosh~”

Lu Li was going as fast as he could. He opened his eyes wide to check the surroundings. This time, he flew up high in a straight line regardless of the fact that some warriors might be lurking in the ground.

Lu Li knew very well that flying like this would consume too much energy and he would pass out when he could no longer stand it.

However, there was no alternative. Not long afterwards, Haochuan and Haoyang would notice that the young man had died and would begin to hunt Lu Li down. He must get as far away as possible before he pass out if he wanted to survive.

Flying in a straight line, he was moving forward fast. In the time for dozens of breaths, he had covered dozens of miles. Lu Li felt his eyelids getting heavier and his soul becoming weaker.

He should have rested to recover immediately after releasing the Rising Dragon Skill. To know that he was running for his life, his body and mind were turning weaker by the moment, not to mention that he had sustained serious injury.

“Buzzing~”

Lu Li found some fruits that could nourish his soul in his Interspatial Ring. He chewed them up and swallowed. Some energy spread into his soul, lifting up his spirit.

Unfortunately, given that his right arm was broken and his internal organs were injured, he was greatly undermined. He couldn’t recover by just relying on some elixirs. To hold on for a while was the best he could do, which was sapping his mental power. He would become even weaker.

Lu Li made it for thousands of miles in the time for half an incense stick to burn. He couldn’t keep his eyes open but he forced himself forward. His face was bleached as if he were an invalid that had yet to recover from a dangerous illness.

He managed to fly for the time for another half an incense stick to burn when he blacked out. The Fate Wheel fell down uncontrollably. At the last moment of his consciousness, he strove to put away his Fate Wheel and changed himself to another person with the Shrink Skill before he passed out at the foot of a mountain.

“Haolong is dead!”

Young Master Haochuan and Haoyang were still honing their skills by fight against the Beasts of Primordial Chaos. They smashed one beast after another away with ease and pounded some smaller ones to death. Suddenly, a jade talisman Haochuan was carrying broke, taking the two by surprise.

Staring at the halved jade talisman of life, Young Master Haochuan changed from pretty and charming to frustrated and awful. He mumbled, “How is that possible? Is that punk not at the Eternal Realm? Is he a powerful warrior in disguise? Was that not a Fate Wheel but some piece of treasure?”

Haoyang yelled with rage, “Kill him and avenge Brother Haolong!”

“Get him~”

Haochuan took out that bronze chariot. Ignoring the Beasts of Primordial Chaos, the two flew away on the chariot.

They seemed to be able to sense where Haolong died. They flew over in a straight line and found Haolong’s remains not long after.

Staring at the pile of minced flesh, the unidentified body, both felt tears in their eyes. Their handsome faces grew as hideous as ghosts.

“Brother Haolong, no—”

Haoyang rushed down, knelt in front of Haolong’s remains and roared. Haochuan gasped at the dented ground and the Haolong’s dueling sword that had been broken into pieces.

Once again, Haochuan murmured in confusion, “That man must be a powerful warrior in disguise. He is playing dumb. No Eternal Realm warrior can possibly release such strong attacks, not even when he has ninth rank Bloodline!”

Haoyang came back to his senses. Gazing into the pit, the scattered pieces of the dueling sword, the pounded Haolong, Haoyang said in sorrow and indignation, “Young Master Haochuan, do you mean we are going to let it go? Will we avenge Brother Haolong or not?”

Young Master Haochuan said nothing in reply as he was having second thoughts. Of course he wanted revenge. However, if that person was really a powerful warrior playing dumb, not only wouldn’t they get revenge, they might lose their own lives as well.

Looking around, Haochuan soon felt more puzzled. He saw blood marks left by Lu Li and the mountains that Lu Li was smashed into.

From the marks and traces, Haochuan inferred that Lu Li must be injured by Haolong. In that case, if Lu Li were a powerful warrior in disguise, why would he be injured? It didn’t make sense.

“Haoyang!”

After a while, Haochuan thought about it and asked, “Have you heard of any talent like him from the Central Imperial Universe?”

Haoyang was calming down from the initial rage. He gave it some thoughts before he answered, “No. I think that person is about 18 or 19. If he is so talented, there is no way that this information is hidden. Also…the armor he is wearing is nothing but average. Apart from the Zen Bead, he doesn’t have any other valuables.”

“Can he be from the other two universes?” Haochuan asked again.

“Not really…”

Haoyang replied, “Talents from the four universes won’t conceal their abilities unless this person never showed up in public and the first time he ever went out was to Prison of Gold. I think he is more likely to be an apprentice of an old warrior in the Prison of Gold than a talent from the other three universes.”

“Then let’s go after him!”

Haochuan made up his mind and said, “We will start from here and search for him for 10 days. If we cannot find him in 10 days, we can never forget about this and we will avenge Haolong in the future.”

“Alright!”

Putting Haolong’s remains away, Haoyang boarded the chariot. Young Master Haochuan didn’t know exactly where they should go. However, Lu Li couldn’t have been at where they came from. Haochuan pointed to a random direction and left.

The bronze chariot was fast. It could be as fast as a warrior of the later stage of the Human Sovereign Realm. They had delayed for some time but it could be made up considering how fast the chariot could go.

They circled around in the area and gradually expanded out. They kept looking for Lu Li with psychic power and nothing could escape their attention.

In just an hour, Haochuan found something. Pointing to a boulder ahead, he said, “Look, there is a drop of blood there.”

Haoyang followed his lead and found a tiny drop of blood with psychic power. They might not even be able to find it with naked eyes.

“Go!”

Both felt cheered up by the fact that Lu Li was injured. No matter which universe Lu Li was from, whether he was an apprentice of an old freaky warrior or not, they had decided to kill Lu Li.

Lu Li was injured and he spilled out blood. Around his mouth and on his clothes were blood stains. While flying at a fast speed, it was inevitable that some blood stains would be left behind.

It didn’t take Lu Li’s pursuers long. After the time for merely one incense stick to burn, they had located Lu Li with psychic power at the foot of a mountain. Lu Li was still in a coma.

He had changed into another person with Shrink Skill. That being said, many things gave him away. After all, he didn’t change his clothes. Besides…he had the nine-layer Fate Wheel in his abdomen, his right hand was broken and his internal organs were injured!

Making sure that he was faced with Lu Li, Haoyang flew into rage. He bellowed, “Bastard, prepare to die!”

He took out his weapon and was about to smash Lu Li’s head when Haochuan stopped him. Looking at Lu Li with alert, Haochuan whispered, “Haoyang, don’t be so rash. Maybe he is fooling us. Don’t be tricked.”

“He playing dead?”

Haoyang checked Lu Li again with suspicion. He thought of an idea and yelled again, “Bastard, what do you think you are doing? I have seen you through. Prepare for your death…”

His voice was loud that Lu Li’s eardrums were hurting. If Lu Li were playing dead, his body would show signs.

However, Haochuan and Haoyang sensed that Lu Li’s breath was still weak and his heartbeat was slow. Nothing changed.

Haoyang couldn’t stay calm anymore. His sword glared as he was ready to hack down on Lu Li. Again, he roared, “Go to hell!”

“So loud!”

Right at that moment, there came an angry voice from a mountain not far away, “If you want kill him, just do it. What is with all this yelling? Get lost!”
