Alicia was down checking her mail when one of the tenants let her ex boyfriend into the building. She quickly hid in the hall where he couldn't see her. When he got onto the elevator she ducked into the women's bathroom. She called the security office and asked them to go up and check out her apartment. The security guard said he had heard him in the apartment slamming things around then when confronted him he hid a hammer When the police arrived he said he had been informed that she was off of her meds and was tearing up the baby's nursery and he was afraid for the baby's health and made out a police report.
The door didn't look like it had been tampered with so the police that he had a key and had legitimate reason for all of this. The security guard showed him the tape they had been abled to film before he realized that they were there. At the station the police officer was telling detective O'Donnell what was told to them and showed him of tape showing just the opposite. Detective O'Donnell called Alicia and told her to put some of her clothing in a trash bag and leave it next to the security door and come to the church. Alicia walked into the front door and out the back into a garage where nobody could see them get into a waiting dark window car and left.
