"Well the van left 20 minutes before we cordoned off the area and with traffic cams I've followed it just outside D.C. It arrived at an old apartment building over an hour ago, but it made a stop earlier and in area where we have no footage. I let James know and he told me to get infrared, audio and visual feeds on the apartment. Also we're supposed to let him know if anyone comes or goes."

"Let's get started then."

We ate lunch and worked up the building. The apartment was located on the corner of Crown St., in the Fairmount Heights District. It was five stories high and had been abandoned for two years. There were five men inside three on the fourth floor, and one on both the third and first floors.

My cell which I had set on Keith's desk went off as we sent Pete and Jeff the information.

"Could you get that?"

Keith nodded and grabbed the phone. "Hello?"

"No, you have the right number she's right here." He handed me the phone. "It's Bryan."

I sighed. Why did he keep calling? Didn't he get it the first time when I told him to get lost? I put my hand over the receiver. "Can you handle this why I give him a piece of my mind for interrupting me twice today?"

He laughed. "Maybe I should've just hung up."

I laughed. "Maybe." I got up and walked into the hallway then into an empty holding room. "Hello?"

"Amanda, who was that?"

"Excuse me?" Who did he think he was? "I wanna know."

"Uh, we're not a dating any more remember? So it's none of your damn business."

"So, that's why you wouldn't meet me tonight!"

Well that was part of it now, but he didn't need to know that. "No, you're a loser who thinks all I'm good for is a one night stand."

"I don't think that. I've missed you and I just wanted to talk, but I see you've moved on."

"Right. You're the one who called it off so you deal with it." I leaned against the wall and rubbed my forehead trying to get rid of the headache I could feel coming on. As I did so a sharp pain reminded me of my injury and I bit my lip to avoid crying out in pain.

"Well if you didn't work so much. Wait, does this guy work with you? That's great at least he will see you more than I ever did."
