As she bent over the cliff to take a closer look, the figure stood up and turned it´s head. A child! It was a small girl with thick black curls. She couldn´t have been more than 2 years old, and yet she was looking straight at Arabella. With eyes as green as emeralds.

A shock went through the Lady, like thunder. The little girl kept looking at her. ´What should I do?´ thought Arabella. ´Where could her mother be?` Lady Kincaid decided to descend to the beach and look for the girl´s parents. She hurried to the girl´s side and looked around. But there was nobody near nor far, the child was all alone. The girl was looking at the sea now, mesmerized by the rolling of the waves, she couldn´t keep her eyes of the waters. ´´Where are your parents, little girl?´´ Arabella asked. But the girl did not respond. ´Is she mute? Is that perhaps why she was left here?´

Lady Kincaid could not fathom such a thing in this day and age, but one never knows. ´´Where did you come from?´´ she asked again. Then all of a sudden, as if she awoke from her trance, the girl looked at the heavens and pointed upwards. Lady Arabella Kincaid had a difficult time processing this. ´What does she mean? Did she fall? Perhaps a planecrash? Or a shipwreck?´ she thought.
