The horse trailer stopped down the road aways into a beautiful farm and the young man loaded a horse into the trailer. The horse was a little fidgety making Satan a little fidgety also but Marla put her finger up to her mouth signaling for Satan to be quiet. He obeyed her command and the young man got the horse to settle down by giving him a sugar cube. He closed the trailer and walked around to the driver's door. Marla thought he might have seen her when he looked that way.
He got in and started the truck and pulled out of the farm He drove another few hours and stopped at a truck stop / motel to eat. He also took an overnight bag out of the front of the truck and walked toward the motel. Marla knew he was either going to check in to take a shower or to spend the night. She put her hoodie on to cover her long blond hair. She needed to relieve herself and really wanted to clean up.
She saw a sign as she entered that pointed to the shower rooms. She grabbed her a shower room key plus let Satan in through a side door close to the shower rooms.She motioned him to lay down and be still. She put her hair in a ponytail at the base of her neck then took out the scissors she brought from home. In no time she went from long to short hair. On her way to the shower room she saw a black hair color dye. She dyed her hair and eye brows then took a good shower and rinsed the extra dye out of her hair.
