Jean Potter was blind from the age of fourteen, when she came across the fire accident and she had to forsake her two eyes. She was dejected when she met with a fire accident. Since Jean was good at her drawings, her eyes were a lamp for her artistic way of living. She used to design her pallet of arts in a fine manner. Because of the accident, she had to depend on her parents for all her needs.
Jean had lost her confidence in herself due to the incident what had happened in her life. Jean’s parents showed her to couple of doctors but it was in vain. Jean mourned and was saddened most of her days until one day when she had to lose her parents. Her mother’s best friend Sheila Dillon provides shelter to Jean and she will be taking care of her. Jean lost most of her valuable things, her eyes and her wonderful parents. She was like a dark pearl which lost its shine and glowing beauty. Though Sheila took care most of her needs, still there was some emptiness in her circle of life.
