She was quickly back on her feet. The slitter was bemused. That blow should have knocked her out. He made a move to launch at her but quickly stopped in his tracks. She was holding a gun. Fuck him. He had actually brought a knife to a gun fight. One look at her eyes and he realized his mistake. Tonight he wasn't the hunter, he was the prey. Two bullets to the chest were more than enough to send him to his knees. Death wasn't foreign to him, he knew it's stench. He cusrsed himself as the darkness enveloped him.
