"Bro, your Pops must be rich…" Avery observed as they walked the winding sidewalks making their way through the inner circles of the upper upper-middle class community. They couldn't help but noticing the expansive golf course and private country club that circled about the perimeters of the area.

"Don't know…" Jayden said confounded by what he was seeing. "This is not like where we're from; that's for sure…"

"I'm hip man… No wonder you can't find any decent public transportation around here…"

"Yea who rides the bus when you can ride in your Bentley, Mercedes or BMW…?" Jayden noted observing the expensive cars that were parked in the various driveways.

"Must be nice… Man when I grow up, I'm going to get me ride like that." Avery bragged pointing to a brand new Mustang they passed as they walked through the gated community.

"Man that's the shit right there…" Jayden agreed admiring the sleek design of the car.

"Hey man isn't this it?" Excitedly Avery asked as he looked over a crop of golden globe arborvitae shrubbery at the address that was posted on the mailbox at the end of the expansive driveway. Jayden stopped. Setting off in the distance was a beautiful two-story light beige brick English Country mansion that was breath-taking. He couldn't believe how well off his father lived.

"This can't be right, is it?" He asked grabbing the paper from Avery's hand and comparing the addresses for himself.

"Damn… this is sweet." Avery couldn't help but admire.

"Closer… Everybody get closer… closer, please…" The photographer coached as he set up for the first shot. "Hmm, Mrs. Ellis could maybe the two of you interlock your hands together for this shot?" He then suggested while peering into the viewfinder to see how the shot would look.

"Sure," she replied glad to comply.

"Perfect" the photographer complimented as he clicked away with his camera taking numerous shots of them. The family was taking pictures out on their expansive front lawn in the upper-middle class mixed neighborhood. They were using the house and surrounding landscape as a natural setting to mark the occasion. Jayden observed the beautiful landscape and meticulously sculpted shrubbery that surrounded his father's property and the vastness of his home. Jayden couldn't help thinking about how big his father's yard and house was so why wasn't there enough room in his life for him. Why didn't his father have enough room in his heart for him too? He couldn't stop the myriad of thoughts that ran through his mind as he inconspicuously watched the family happily laughing and smiling together oblivious that they were being watched from a distance.
