"I'll try this on too." She said as she dashed back off to the dressing room. Jayden then returned his attention back to Jacob. When he got back to the counter he saw his father thumbing through his notebook.

"This isn't the tuxedo shop…"

"Huh?" Jayden was confused. What the hell was wrong with the man? Didn't he just ask him about buying a gift for his wife?

"The tuxedo shop, where is it?"

Jayden didn't know what was going on nor did he really want to get involve. He led the way back to the entrance of his shop and opened the door.

"Two doors down…" He said pointing to his right.

"Thank you…" Jacob said as he quickly exited the door leaving Jayden wondering what the hell that was about.

"Drums!" Jayden demanded storming past Mia heading straight towards the drum room. Mia gave a shocked looked and then turned to her business partner and said, "Handle this…" as she followed behind Jayden's footsteps.

BAT-BAT-BAT-BAM-TAP-BAM-BAM-RAPPA-TAP-TAP-BAM-BAM… Jayden's beat was angry and full of rage as he slammed his hands and knuckles against the goatskin covering eliciting all sorts of strange and uncontrolled beats from the drum. His eyes were tightly shut while his head bobbed up and down as if he was trying to make himself forget something.

Mia observed at a distance unsure if she should approach or rather just let him get it all out.

"What's going on?" Lacy asked as he had quietly approached from behind. Mia humped her shoulders together.

"I'm not sure…" She replied just as quietly as he.

"Boyfriend?" Lacy asked. Mia smiled but shook her head.

"No it's nothing like that…"

"Are you sure?" He asked giving her a suspicious eye.

"Positive… That man there is too angry to have any kind of serious relationship with a woman. Right now, in his present state of mind he's a woman's worse nightmare." She said thoughtfully as she watched him working through whatever it was that he was so upset about. "And the worse thing about it, he doesn't even know it."

Jayden pounded the drum sets until he was exhausted. Finally after twenty good minutes he stopped and got up. Walking down the steps from the stage, he sat on the corner of the stage.

"Feel better?" Mia asked as she had already approached and was sitting down next to him. Jayden turned on her staring hard at her. His body trembled and his breathing was laborious. Mia didn't want to admit it, but she found his behavior slightly frightening. She had never seen him like this before. He looked like he could murder someone and she was hoping that it wasn't her. Maybe she should have given better consideration of her words before telling Lacy it was okay to leave her alone with him.
