Considering she only had one suitcase and everything she owned was in that one bag, she supposed she would need the whole bag. She opened the car door, and the wind raged like a hurricane. With her hands held over her head, she rushed to the back of the car. When her mum opened the trunk, Hannah was drenched through to the skin. Hurriedly she pulled her bag from the side and ran through the rain to the door.

She stood in front of the door, while she waited for her mum to get a bag, shut the trunk and to run toward the door. With water running in rivulets down her face, her mum unlocked the door. They charged into the room.

Hannah looked around and noticed there was no television, and sadly remembered she had to leave all her books behind. She took off her wet clothes, kicked off her shoes and then after pulling her pyjamas over her head, she slipped into the double bed. The sheets smelled stale.

She hoped to fall asleep quickly and miraculously, because she was so exhausted, she did.
