"Yeah it was, took about three times at the tattoo shop to get the image down of the thorns and roses and then color the whole thing in. But you like it right?" Aurora asked with a childish grin.
"Oh yeah, yeah it's good, I like it…..real cool," Athena said with as much enthusiasm as she could gather.
"You don't sound all that thrilled about my new artwork," Aurora said with malicious in her tone.
"Well it's just that it's so big…..a little too much maybe, you know it covers your whole arm."
"What, you don't like body expression?"
"No, it's not that……look," Athena said turning her head and pulling aside her dark hair to reveal a little butterfly on the back of her neck.
"Oh how cute…..I bet that really hurt putting on for what all but two minutes," Aurora said as her cell jingled in her pocket.
"What phone is that?" Athena questioned not recognizing the ringtone as her sister pulled the cell out and glanced at the incoming number.
"Ah….it's my work phone, I have to take this…..can I have a moment please?" Aurora said as her sister stood and started to walk out of the room.
"Oh sure…I only live here," Athena said stepping into the living room to clean the couch after her drunken sister spent the night on.
"This is Constantine; you have a job for me?" Aurora questioned the new caller. A few minutes later with her pants zipped and tank top on. "I have work to do, thanks for the coffee, say hi to the girls for me." she said as she grabbed her combat boots and sat down just long enough to slip each boot into place, lace them up and headed for the door.
"You're going to work? You look like all Godly hell," Athena asked as she followed her sister to the door.
"Yeah well….work calls….gotta go," Aurora said pulling back her hair and setting it into her personal trademark ponytail and headed for her bike.
"Good God, you're still riding that death machine without a helmet are you?" said Athena as her sister mounted her Ninja.
"Hey this is Florida, we don't need to wear helmets in this state, besides it would mess up my hair," Aurora said smiling as she fired up the beast between her legs. "See you soon little sis," she said as Athena watched her sister ride off into the early morning daylight.
