From where Tom Crow stood on Platform (B) and the others scattered throughout the underground multiplex, even the sound of gunfire was lost within the vast structure. The shrieking sound of train wheels screeching to a halt combined with the endless void of thousands of human voices all clambering at once would even drown out the largest gun battle, unless it were close by. So many people all going about their day in the haze of rush hour, all trying to get somewhere oblivious to what has already taken place.

For Crow at this very moment in time, he and everyone else in his section of the complex were unaffected by the events on the other side of the subway station. He had spotted the big man standing like a tree out in the forest and along the smaller passengers like himself, he slowly sneaked his way ever closer to the large Russian. With so many people blocking his vantage point combined with his aging poor eye sight, Ivan now regretted his very being there. He had no idea that Crow was moving in on him and just how close he was to come.

Crow had moved himself into a good position where he could fire off a shot right from out of the countless souls around him, then vanish without a trace. He stood in place eyeing his target with precision. Reaching out with his thumb, he lined up his prey with accuracy. Ivan still standing there gazing into the mass population. "That's it big man, just stand there like a big lump of shit," Crow said to himself softly as she dug into his coat pocket for his 9mm. The blaring sound of an incoming train roared into the station behind him cloaking any possible gunfire as the steel beast's wheels screamed a high pitch squeal slowing the great monster down. Crow saw this as he cue to attack. "That's it, turn your head my way, I want you to see it coming you big mother………." he said as he lined up the shot and pulled the trigger.

At the moment of discharge, his arm was struck by someone walking by, causing his shot to go amiss. The round punched a hole in the wall close to the intended target's head but far enough to not do any harm. The big man was stunned for a moment, unsure of what just happened. Crow fearing retaliation from the 6 ft. 10 mad Russian, backed off into the populace hoping to blend in. He turned back just in time to see the big man coming for him with a stern dead gaze and blank eyes. The mass amount of people before Crow was immense as he tried to move through the swarm of human souls.
