"Oh you're so funny." he said reaching out to grasp her hand with affection in his intent.

"Well like we said, that was a long time ago," Aurora told him as she once again withdrew from his touch.

"Aren't you glad to see me?" Stryker questioned with sadness in his eyes and a bit of quiver in his voice.

"Sure I am, I am so happy to see you," she said as a little brightness lit up her eyes. "I was happy to know that you were close when I realized the sniper had to be you," she added as she leaned up on the little table near where Stryker sat when she first entered the room.

"So then, I was in your thoughts after all?" he said with a hopeful glance.

"Let's just say that I'm glad it was you who scored that annoying little narcissistic, self-absorbed, mother fucker and not one of those other assholes playing in this insane bullshit game," she said with a grin.

"You always did have a colorful way to saying things my dear," he said matching her smile.

"Yeah don't I though." Aurora complied.

"So what do we do now?"

"What with us…..or this crazy game of death that we are involved in?"

"Well, I was thinking both….maybe," the man before her said with hope in his eyes.

"Well, let's crank my laptop to see what's next on the web site," she said walking over to the other double bed in the room where her computer lay. "Maybe by now there's an update. Bear died hours ago and I'm guessing that you informed Fat Daddy of your scoring the little shit so something must be on there as to our next move or assignment," Aurora said flipping open the computer and powering it on.

"Oh yeah, he knows of the score, big points I would guess," Stryker said.

"Yeah big points for you I guess," Aurora commented as the computer booted up and her screen saver with her two nieces came into view. It was a photo of the girls from Halloween a year prior with the two dressed as little pirates.

"So is anything on the site yet?" Stryker asked walking over to her side of the room.

"Give me a minute, this thing is a little old. I am not working for the government anymore you know," Aurora said in a condescending tone as she brought up the Kill Fest website as she lay on her belly all stretched out with the device before her. Upon the screen, she saw the credit her old friend was given for scoring the pop singer. "Here you are." she said reading him his victory over the other 5 competitors. "It says here that you are even giving an extra point for pulling off the mission before Jason Bear could even perform at the Golden Key Hotel." Aurora told him turning her head to meet with his eyes as he joined her on the bed.
