By evening everyone was surrounded around Adhira. She was bemused as to whom she must obey as everyone around her where sharing their own suggestions. She looked around and found Arya was nowhere in that group. She felt like screaming on top of her voice but then she breathed in and breathed out to relax herself.
Arya came and saw everyone surrounding her. He moved them and went near Adhira. Adhira saw him standing near her through the mirror in front her. Her face brightened up instantaneously seeing him.
He placed his hand on her shoulder as comfort and she pulled him to bend so he reciprocated her actions. He bent down and she whispered,” I like to get ready on my own. Please help me from these people.”
Arya gestured he will take care and went away from the room. He went to his mom and said,” Mom, Everyone are torturing Adhira there. Can you go and get rid of them so that she can get ready by herself.”
Laskhmi nodded her head and went to Adhira’s room. She saw all of them around her so she spoke up,” The function is about to start. All of you come outside.”
Hearing her voice people started to move out. Arya came and saw Lakshmi. He smiled at her and she smiled back. They both went to Adhira and Lakshmi spoke up,” Get ready ma. We must start.”
Adhira nodded her head and started to brush her hair. She parted both sides of her hair and loosely platted at the end. Arya stood there seeing her enhancing her beauty. He saw flowers placed nearby her so he took that and placed it on her hair. He saw her and there appeared a smile on her face.
Arya took the necklace and wore it on her neck. He also made her to wear the antique temple earrings. He saw her on the mirror who was beaming with smile and happiness on her face.
She was dressed gorgeously in Purple kandangi silk cotton saree with a blue blouse. Her loose platted hair with jasmine flowers added more complexion to her smiling face. He was so enthralled seeing her being cheerful of all these months.
Lakshmi came and saw her who went awestruck seeing Adhira. She took the eye liner and placed a spot on Adhira’s chin to get rid of evil eyes.
Adhira carefully stood up holding Arya’s hand and they all went to the function area. Everyone saw the glow of pregnancy in Adhira’s face. A smile grew on her face seeing everyone staring at her. Arya made her to sit carefully and the function started.
