Lakshmi called and checked on the catering service also she had purchased some saree and bangles for Adhira. She placed them in a thambulam and then enquired to Ram about Pandits. Ram replied,” I have asked them to come by 4pm. You don’t need to worry as they will buy the Pooja items themselves.”
Lakshmi nodded her head and saw the time which was past 10 now. She remembered that Adhira hadn’t eaten anything so she searched for Gayathri in kitchen but then saw Arya there.
She asked him,” What are you doing?”
Arya saw her and said,” Adhira didn’t have anything from morning. So I made some juice to give her.”
Lakshmi saw that he had made apple milk shake for her. She then saw that he hadn’t added sugar. She went to him and knocked on his head. He screamed and yelled,” Why are you always scolding or beating me? I didn’t do anything wrong. I was just making juice for my wife” saying it he shrugged his shoulders.
Lakshmi again knocked on his head and said,” It is not a sin to make juice for your wife, but you must know your wife taste preference.”
He breathed heavily and said,” If you want to convey something tell me directly. Please don’t mince your words.”
