“Hey Laya, how are you?”
“Great and you?”
“Good. I was hoping to have that talk please, just a few minutes.”
“Yeah sure.” Her eyes dart from side to side, almost like she is looking for someone, or expecting someone.
“Are you looking for someone?”
“Amy, I don’t want any problems between the two of you.”
“What?”
“Never mind, what did you want to talk about?”
“Can we go somewhere that no one would be able to hear us please?”
“Ok.” She touches me on the shoulder and the next thing I know we are sitting in a secluded beach somewhere. Where are we?
“Sorry no one will disturb us here, this island is secluded, I come here often to clear my head.”
“This is perfect, and is there anywhere we sit then.”
She motions forward leading me to the beach, where we both sit on a rock, side by side. As the wind blows her hair, giving her that almost angelic illusion, my heart contracts. I’m finally going to let her know how I feel. We can finally be together.
I take her hand in mine, and flash her a smile, as she looks almost scared, panic begins to set in.
“Laya there’s something we need to discuss, and I know that you don’t really want to date any of the guys here right now but I really like you and I was hoping that maybe you could go out with me.”
