Myra woke up late since it was a Sunday and office was closed. She dressed and went downstairs for breakfast.'
"Rajni where is Ritwik?"
"Saheb has gone to London. I think he received a late night call because when I came in the morning he was already packed and ready to go.He told me not to disturb you and let you sleep."
Myra felt bad. She was hoping to clear their misunderstanding but now Ritwik was gone and maybe for many days. What could have been so urgent? Was it some emergency at work?
Myra had a bad feeling of this situation.Somehow this situation had to be salvaged otherwise their marriage would not survive.
She decided to call Jiya but then decided against it since she would have to explain the situation to her. She decided to spend the day redecorating the house with all the stuff they had shopped for. First she attacked the living room. A couple of vases and two paintings were added to the room . She also added multicoloured cushions on the sofa. She decided to call someone for a wall painting. She did not like the dreary walls all white in colour so she decided to renovate a little bit.
In the evening she took an early dinner, picked a romance novel and settled for bed.
