He had wasted enough time already and he had to reach the office of SS travels. The travel agency was a family run affair who had recently lost its eighty year old owner Mr Gautam Patel .His son Vikram Patel was settled in Canada and was selling the business. Dev had been on the lookout for such an opportunity as SS Travels though a small organization had a good reputation among its clientale and the travel fraternity.
The agency was housed on the top floor of a three storeyed commercial building. It had fifty employees with a turnover of eighty crores. For the last six months or so the profits had decreased due to the ailing owner. His son Vikram had taken over the reigns of the company but being inexperienced in this field was not helping. Mr Gautam Patel had been a hardworker who had set this agency in his late twenties.It had been a small enterprise with three employees, Mr Patel, The accountant and the delivery boy. Now there were fifty employees and separate departments for Visa, Hotels, Domestic Packages, International Ticketing, International packages, Business and conferences, Wedding arrangements, leisure travel, forex and so on. In addition their were people involved even for bus tickets, railway bookings and taxi services. All this hardwork had put a toll on his health and his condition had deteriorated day by day. .
