Maya and Varun didn’t utter a word but they both just saw each other. Varun smiled at her and gestured “I am not.” She laughed seeing him so he laughed back. Preethi got possessive as Vivek had mentioned that he knew Maya better so she yelled back, “You may have known her. But she is my best friend so I know her better than you.”
Maya sensed Preethi possessiveness so she spoke,” Okay. You both know me well. So stop fighting like kids.”
Preethi was not satisfied yet so she continued,” Vivek if you say that Varun is better than her then lets conduct a competition between them and see who is better. Is that okay?”
Varun blurted out,” Hey, come on. Why are you people dragging me into this? Maya I have got nothing to do with this.”
Maya laughed at his behavior so she thought to tease him further so she spoke,” Varun, Relax. I know you have nothing to do with it. But Varun are you scared as you may lose against a girl? Isn’t that the reason that you are bursting out like this.”
“Unbelievable. How can you think that I might lose? Maya, I don’t mind losing against a girl. If you are scared losing against a guy then don’t accept this challenge.”
