Maya understood their reactions so she spoke up, “It is really beautiful. Thanks a lot.”
Varun understood that there was something else to it so he saw her eyes deeply to figure it out. He tired but then thought, “Still she is a mystery. I just can’t read her eyes yet.”
Vasuki then smiled and asked, “Maya, Will you wear this for temple today?”
Maya thought, “Just like I thought” she then looked her mom and Aishwerya signaled her to say YES so Maya smiled at her and said, “Sure ma.”
Vasuki then spoke to Aishwerya,”Can I get some water?”
Aishwerya then placed it on bed and said, “Maya, Get ready soon. I will be back to check on you” then she turned to Vasuki and added,” Come with me” saying it they both left.
Maya sat on the bed with a sad face and then found that Varun was standing was there keeping his hands into pockets and looking at her.
She saw him and asked, “What are you looking at?”
“I am looking at you. What happened didn’t you like the saree?”
“No. I do like that saree.”
“Then what the issue is?”
“That saree is the issue.”
