The other lift arrived and it was not crowded also there were only 5 other people in the lift. So they both took the lift. Maya went and stood near the lift buttons which was on her left while Varun stood alongside. Varun extended his hands to press the floor unknowingly even Maya also did the same which made both of them to touch each other fingers. Varun saw her and they both shared an eye lock. Varun tried to look further in her eyes and just as he thought her eyes were smiling seeing him. He then thought,” Maybe it smiled as we both did the same thing at same time. Not by looking at me.”
The lift stopped at next floor and many people entered into the lift which made it crowded. Varun was moved so closer to Maya now. He was standing in the direction facing her. Maya was able to feel his breath and smell his perfume. He saw her without taking off his eyes from her. She was so mesmerized inside his eyes. Varun had placed a hand above her head for a grip and also she had placed her bag in one side which was distancing both for about two inches away from each other.
The lift halted at next floor where people started to move out so in a hurry people pushed the person who was next to Varun so he fell on him which made Varun to get closer to Maya. They both didn’t take off their eye contacts. Maya seeing him more nearer to her raised an inch of herself so that he can find some space but he saw her doing that so he bent his head down near her ears and whispered,” Stand comfortably. I can manage” so she stood comfortably. Some people started to get inside so there was again another push and this time Varun almost fell on her. He was able to feel her lips on his right chest. Due to the sudden push Maya’s lips touched his chest so she immediately pressed her upper lips on the lower indicating a protruding lip. Maya broke of the eye contact and hung her head below.
