"We cannot allow our brother to proceed with the purification," Gabriel begged the others.

"He hath been given many chances… we cannot protect him forever," Camael argued.

"He wishes to release Lilith's spirit unto heaven, and save the girl who hath been stolen to the Southern Realm. He, as guardian, must honor his oath," Gabriel reminded them. "It hath never been an easy task, unto the hearts of mankind. He will never hold the heart of one without breaking that of the other. He can never replace the greed of men, without affecting the pride of their nation."

The winds of the third heaven opened up, God coming forward in Judgment.

"The demons of the Goetia were sealed by Solomon the King. They were offered redemption. Now it is mankind who must be judged… they who have been protected by us for centuries and who now face good against evil. It is written, only the righteous holdeth the power to open the seven seals. I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat upon him was Death, and Hell followed with him.* Mankind hath brought upon themselves this Apocalypse, this war of destruction. The Four Kings of Hell are merely following the devised plan of world dominion…God will never forsake the righteous…All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine.* The Holy Bible- The Book of Revelation 6:8, 6:14

We cannot intervene upon the fall of guardian and man. It is ordered."

I felt heat scorching my body. My eyes opened slowly to the fires of the first heaven, Satan's four winged demons keeping eternal watch. I felt claws tracing over my brands. With a sweep of his hands, the flames cleared, and Satan's red orbs of glass stared into my eyes.

"Ahhh… she's breathing. There's something you should see."

Dantalion and Lilith were standing before me.

"This is one of your re-created illusions," I winced.

"No my dear girl… this is present day. Whilst you bleed here in the infernal realm as my prisoner, your precious archangel conspires with his first love Lilith…see for yourself."

Dantalion's dark eyes and angel wings were clear as when I last saw him, except he was staring into Lilith's eyes and not mine. Their words cut to my core.

"We loved before her… don't ever forget."

I could see the look on their faces. It was something we never had… a past only they shared.
