Candee looked over at him, he looked gorgeous, she thought, he had beige pleated trousers on and a dress western shirt, with the sleeves turned up one time, she noticed he was wearing what looked to her like a very expensive watch. Said, "Well actually I'm a detective, and on this special task force, so we make quite bit higher wages than the beat cops do," that seemed to satisfy her for the moment; he knew he'd have to explain a few things at some point this weekend. Starke said, "the radio is right there if you'd like some music while we drive," as he pointed to it, there were so many buttons, gages and gadgets, the dash looked like the dash in an airplane, she imagined, but she found the right button, and the beautiful music surrounded them as it came on, they listened, and enjoyed the smooth ride, witho ut speaking for several miles.

Candee noticed they has just passed the road that turned into Starkes' cabin, and he said, the Inn is only about ten miles more on this road., they passed the lake where his boat was docked, and drove on, finally she saw a sign on the roadside, that said, Mountainside Bed & Breakfast Inn and Resort, 2 miles ahead.

Candee said to Starke, the word Resort looks as though that had been added later, he said, "you are very observant, it started as a B&B but because people loved it and wanted to stay more than overnight, the place seemed to expand, and they now serve all meals, and it's become more of a Resort then a B&B.

And then he was turning into the long tree lined drive, and soon she could just make out the Inn ahead and it was a lovely sight to behold, the driveway then split off in two directions, Starke taking one to the right, and thislead to a parking lot hidden by tall beautifully pruned hedges.

Starke pulled into a parking spot, and hit the button that would put the top back up, then he shut the engine off and they both got out of the car and he got their bags out, she looked towards the Inn and saw that it would be a good long walk up to it, she mentioned this to Starke and he motioned over here, and then she saw several electric golf carts parked in a roped off area of the big parking lot, "those are for our use," Starke said,. And they walked over, he tossed their bags in the back, and said, "Hop in," and that was how they made their way up to the grand entrance of the lovely old mansion that was the Inn.
